Surely this is only a reference to how long the Bullet design has lived, and its reliability and invulnerability! Err... I think. Anyway, the race is not always to the swiftest. As far as comparisons to animals, I prefer the bull. Not a speedy creature, but it gets the job done. Ask any cow...
