Another assault on Bonneville?

Readers of this blog are probably aware of the historic record set by Dan Holmes on a Royal Enfield in the Bonneville Salt Flats. According to this blog an Italian group is going to go to the salt and compete in the "modified pushrod gasoline" and in the "faired pushrod fueld" categories with what looks like a lean-burn Mikuni-carbed Royal Enfield. They will exhibit the bike in the Italian Bikerfest in June. Good luck!
