We have mentioned that Enfield Industrial Engines was purchased by a Greek millionaire and moved to the Isle of wight, where it produced the Enfield Electric car, power boats and the Enfield Z-Drive. Part of the company was further moved to the Greek island of Syros, where it become Neorion, which produced the Neorion-Enfield electric vehicle but they were not very successful.   1. By and large, I would say that more young ladies in swimsuits could not have done any harm to Royal Enfield's image. They were willing to grace these ugly packing crates on wheels; imagine, with an actual motorcycle...!
