1922

This post is part of the Royal Enfield Virtual museum. If you don't know what that is, visit the museum, you will be able to return here easily. ============================

The lineup of models for 1922 is virtually unchanged from 1921, including the 976cc V-twin with Vickers engine and the 225cc two stroke. These models were starting to get a bit long in the teeth. It was clear that Enfield had to do something to keep up with the competition. But that would have to wait.

In the meantime, riders were apparently coping with difficulties created by the bacon-slicer engine on their shoes!
