In the mid 1980's, to combat the expansion of small Japanese machines, Enfield India established a new factory in Ranipet to manufacture small bikes under Zundapp license. The factory was in 115 Anna Salai Road in Chennai. That address corresponds to the IDBI bank these days. I wonder if it occupies the same building Enfield used to occupy or if they tore it down and rebuilt. Difficult to say from the aerial shot.
