Sheldon "Shell" Thuet was a legendary race tuner. He opened a dealership in Los Angeles in 1949 selling mostly Indians, but with the marque demise switched to Yamaha and Royal Enfield. For a period in the mid-1960s, Schultz was one of the biggest stars of the famous Friday night Ascot Park races. He broke several track records on the somewhat oddball Royal Enfield racer. He was inducted to the
Hall of Fame in 2001.
He was a fantastic man...
