Saracen's Head

The years after the war were hard years. There was rationing and all sorts of shortages for ordinary people in the UK. In 1948 things started to look better and the Enfield Cycle Company organized a London outing for its employees in May. On the way back they took an evening meal at the Saracen's Head in Beaconsfield, which seems not to have changed much in the intervening years,
