I cannot guarantee there is a Royal Enfield in this picture, taken from the VMCC newsletter. However, the Black Bull Hotel and the Angel Inn are still there in High Street,Wooler, Northumberland, today.
And after I found this picture, in a subsequent issue of the VMCC it is mentioned that the Northumbrian section of the club has decided to host their annual gathering there!
The old photograph outside the Black Bull, Wooler is believed to be Ashington motorbike club on a day out around 1912. My grandad, John Main,is the one on his bike directly in front of the car, just outside the pub door. His bike was a Rudge Multi.
