Where in Walsall?

The Royal Enfield dealer in Walsall was Motor Cycle Mart, of 12 Ablewell St. The picture is from 1989 and the Royal Enfield shown still belonged  to the original owner who bought it there in 1956 and was featured in The Gun. Today either the company relocated or disappeared the site is occupied by Urban Link, an apartment rental company.

    Peter Atkins from ryecrocft worked there has a mechanic in the early 1960s Later moving onto be a mechanic at the cat dealer Bowmaker plant now Finning UK in the late 60s until he retired has Branch Manager in 2000 .Passed 2014 age 74 .RIP DAD .
