The Royal Enfield dealer in Cheltenham was A. Williams and Co. in 10 Portland Street. He was in business since 1904! Currently the building is occupied by Hush Interiors.

A.Williams was the father of Jack Williams the "Cheltenham Flyer" famous TT and ISDT rider with Rudge and then with the Norton team...My dad went into partnership with Jack and opened and managed the Williams Cycle business at the same location.I have picture of Jack on his Norton, with BSA and Enfield bikes at the ISDT 1946 in Italy
