The carb is back

Apparently the UCE Royal Enfields sold in India were not endowed with an O2 sensor, and that made the fuel injection problematic. To combat this, a carburetted version of the UCE bike will be introduced. I'm a bit confused. Why not just add the O2 sensor? Price?

    At least a carburettor is easier to repair without sophisticated devices.
