Royal Enfield is
slashing prices in the US. The Conti will go for $5,999 and the basic Bullet B5 one dollar below $5k. I think this is a smart move. Several bikes in the $7k price range have recently entered the market (e.g. the
Honda CBR500) and although none of them compares directly with what Royal Enfield offers, it must have put pressure on that segment of the market. Also, I imagine the Suzuki TU250X, at $4,399 was probably also putting pressure on potential Enfield sales. David Blasco has links to the
