Soviet Meteor

No, we are not going to talk about Chelyabinsk. Reader Tom reports buying a Royal Enfield Meteor in Moscow in 1993. The seller claimed that it was studied by Soviet engineers and reverse-engineered, yet it finally was not produced. The machine was later used to train bicycle riders. It still had a Derny attached to it at the moment of purchase. I have not been able to find any additional information.
