Two vs. three
The great motorcycling debates of 1917. From "The Motor Cycle" September 27th. Enfield really got a lot of mileage out of their simple and reliable two speed gearbox.
Nothing like having to move the engine to adjust the chain! Sort of like moving the house to open the front door. Motorcyclists of the day feared nothing.
