Hat tip David Blasco of royalenfields.com for this one.
I must confess that I have a dream of some day being able to do the Dakar Rally on a Royal Enfield. The Dakar is the toughest race in the world, about 6000 miles long, ran every year by cars, trucks, quads and motorcycles. It used to go from Paris, France to Dakar, Senegal, but a few years ago the had to move out of Africa due to fears of terrorism and started running in South America. The route has varied from year to year, involving Argentina, Chile and Peru. For me, it will probably always remain a dream, it requires a lot of money and expertise and even then, it is dangerous. If one tries to go slowly and carefully one does not have enough time to sleep.
This team of French riders has recreated the Argentine portions of the Dakar on Royal Enfields.

Hang on to the end to see one of the drivers mess with a guanaco, legendary for their spitting ability!
