An outing for wounded soldiers was organized in Dundee in 1916. Cars and sidecar rigs picked up sixty two soldiers at the Eastern War Hospital. The route followed was via Birkhill and Coupar Angus to the wooded hills of Binbam and Dunkeld, where they enjoyed tea and a smoke before heading back. Most of the sidecars were AJS or Enfield and the only lady rider was on an Enfield.
