E C Wheeler

I cannot determine for a fact if E C Wheeler ever sold Royal Enfields, but given that they are still in operation as the Black and White garage and was started in 1902, it is likely. Over the years there were at several locations in Newbury. One was on Cheap Street, today there seems to be nothing like that there (and the numbering seems to have changed),

Another was on The Broadway, the area looks very renovated today,

And one was on Mansion House,

Which still exists today. Unfortunately the pedestrian core of Newbury is not covered by Google Street View, so we have to make do with a "Bird's Eye" view of Bing maps,
