It's worth reading. The author is not a fan of Royal Enfields in general. He criticizes nearly every aspect of the Thunderbird then admits that the retro-relaxed aspects of the bike common to all Royal Enfields nevertheless warmed the cockles of his heart. You have to conclude that either there is no such thing as a bad motorcycle (possible) or there really is something to this Royal Enfield thing (also possible).
