Great Portland Street today is today a stately and elegant street of large buildings. But in the 1920's it was a hotbed of motorcycling. Robertson's, Maude's, Bartlett's, Rey's, Godfrey's, and also Ratcliffe's. Today the corner of 200 Great Portland has a Sainsbury's.
