One realizes at once that this is written in wartime, with its references to dispatch riders and the lack of civilian motorcycling. The following article describes control modifications for men who have lost limbs. Yet the authors use such frank, pleasant tones. Ah; perhaps one day the motorcycle will do ladies a favor and do away with the diamond frame...! What a different breed they were.
