Honister Pass

I cannot guarantee there is a Royal Enfield in the photo. It is possible since it was taken in 1912. It was a gathering of motorcyclists who would attempt the first climb of Honister Pass. It was taken in Musuem Square in Keswick. Today Museum Square has been totally renovated, although perhaps the arches seen on the right were inspired by the one seen in the picture.
