Spotted on Ebay UK, a 1980's Enfield Explorer. These were Zundapp-licensed machines produced in a plant that Enfield India used to have in Ranipet. The question is: were they systematically imported to the UK? At the time Banavar Imports was the importer. Otherwise it could be a one-time import, something rather unlikely for a small displacement moped.
somebody can have bought it during a trip to india and privately imported it in the luggage...

ReplyDeleteI have an Enfield Explorer. It is black and has Enfield logos but Zundapp engine cases. Would anyone have any information on where it was possibly imported from (obviously India originally).
