In Birdlip
This poorly contrasted picture shows an assembly of motor cycles for the Birmingham Passenger Machine Trial. The biker in the front is C.H. Norrington on a 6hp Enfield sidecar machine. Date is unknown, but the 6hp sidecar combo is from the late 1910's. The picture is in Birdlip, a small town in the Cotswolds east of Gloucester. It looks like it was taken in front of the Royal George hotel, based on a 17th century stone building. Here is what it looks like today, it offers free Wi Fi!
