The North Somerset Yeomanry was a regiment, first raised in 1798. It took part in the Boer War, World War I and World War II and was later merged into other regiments as the British Army reorganized. During World War I they include several motorcyclists, some of them on Royal Enfields. From The Motor Cycle, November 12th 1914,
