There is very little information about the 1898 Royal Enfield trike. None seem to have survived. However I have seen comments that suggest it was a badge engineering job with a De Dion Bouton trike. So here are pictures
of one of them I took at the Science Museum in London.

Note the dual drip pans under the motor and drive gear. That tradition was established early, apparently.
