    It's a family snapshot, not a professional portrait, and everyone is staring into the sun. But, even so, no one looks very happy. Probably the writer (who took this photo) fared best. Everyone else probably wished they'd had a car. The road distance is about 160 miles each way, or eight hours at his 20 mph average. A long day.
