A "nippy" was a waitress who worked at the J. Lyons & Co tea shops in London. They were called that because they moved quickly ("nipped") around the tea shops. Eventually a musical was based on them, starring Binnie Hale.
Given the date of the show this can't be later than a 1930 Royal Enfield and the forward slope of the cylinder marks it as 1930 or later, so... it's a 1930 model. The long pushrods suggest it is the Light Weight OHV Model CO. It was considered very attractively priced for its class.
