K. S. Jones started from Pretoria, South Africa on June 5th, 1933, and made it in time to the Olympia Show in London in November. He apparently is the first person ever to cross Africa by motorcycle.

The clippings give the motorcyclist's name as "S.K. Jones" and also "K.S. Jones." He is an amusing writer. It would be interesting to know whatever happened to him after this epic ride.
