The tester was complimentary except about the brake, which effectively operates only on the rear wheel. With all the weight on the front, the rear wheel skids uselessly when the brake is applied at speed. Not much speed, though, as this is the little 2.25 two-stroke single. Three-speed gearbox but no reverse gear. Steering is "heavy" as you might expect with all that weight over the front wheels. Yet it had Royal Enfield's cushy "cush drive." A different era.
