Bosphorus Brute

Bosphorus Brute is a creation of Bunker Custom Cycles in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Bosphorus Straits connect the Black Sea -eventually- with the Mediterranean. The lower part of this passage (the Dardanelles), was the scene of the World War I battle of Gallipoli, which pitched the British, French, Australians and New Zealanders against the Turkish forces. It is a very important battle with many historical implications, like the consolidation of the modern identities of the Turkish, Australian and New Zealand peoples through a "baptism of fire".

Improbably, my uncle was there! I even was named after him! He was part of something called the British Latin American Volunteers,

Here he is, training in Egypt before going into battle, he's the one at the rightmost, on the donkey.

I could find no documentation showing that Royal Enfields were present in Gallipoli, but I asked several AI agents and they all claim it is very likely, given how prevalent they were among dispatch riders at the time. There are pictures of Douglases and Triumphs.
